The short-term Exchange of groups of pupils
was focussed on Learning outdoor by playing. During the short-term exchange pupils and
teachers have the opportunity to visit protected areas in our landscape
(Beskydy Mountains, a trip to Adršpach).
Czech team prepared an outdoor workshop for
pupils and teachers about the environmental protection and the return of native
animals to the river Olše and Lomná environment, observation of bird nesting
around the river, life in the river, otter and beaver observation.
We learned about the school educational trail.
Impacts of climate change in the forests. Observation of the developmental
stage of forest pests.
In the town of Dvur Kralove, they visited the zoo / safari garden and got to know the African animals living in it: camels, zebras, lemurs, lions, monkeys, leopards, elephants. We were most impressed by the Adršpach Nature Park, where we walked along an educational trail among boulders of interesting shapes and met the legend of the good giant Krakonoš who loved to help the inhabitants of the area.
The students also visited the Marlenka cake factory and the station for injured wild animals in Bartošovice, and in an interactive lecture they heard about animals that have a habitat in that area in coexistence with humans.
During the visit to the school and after the visit, the project leaders and coordinators participated in the project meeting and planned the final activities of the project, and the students in the eTwinning workshop and Kahoot quiz won prizes for their knowledge in outdoor games.
