TPM Málaga, Spain

The first short meeting of teachers of LO-VE Erasmus+ project took place in Málaga, Spain at school named CEIP Rectora Adelaide de la Calle. It was held from November 8th to 14th, 2019. Especially school coordinators met there. They have been working hard since January 2019 to prepare the application form and to plan all the project activities, but it was in Málaga when they had a possibility to meet for the 1st time!

Each school was also represented either by a director or his/her deputy because it was a great occasion to compare the school systems, discuss the similarities and differences and to learn more about the partners. Everybody was pretty excited about staying in Málaga and meeting the partners.

Teachers planned together further project activities and they were also educated on the PBL-Project Based Learning method and the Cooperative Learning Method. They had the opportunity to observe teaching and to participate in digital tools workshops. They were also talking about eTwinning which will be more discussed in Croatia in March 2020. We also learnt details of the next mobility in Finland presented by Petra and Arja.

Partners also enjoyed their free time they spent together at flamengo spectacle in Ronda or during the sightseeing tour in Málaga. Libuše, the Czech deputy headmaster, believes that these face-to-face meetings are crucial. One thing is to be in touch and discuss stuff via smartphone apps but to meet the people in person is great. Now she can connect the names of people she is chatting to to their real faces and this makes the discussion more personalized.
Spanish pupils voted for the best logo and the logo created by Czech pupils was chosen as the best one. Czech Art teacher Lucia has to be proud of! Spanish children seemed so happy and relaxed. And their ability to speak English was very good. They were not afraid of speaking and they were very communicative.
Thank you, Maria, Spanish coordinator, and all your school team for a great organization, we had a great time. See you in Finland in January 2020!
